Celem przedmiotu jest przedstawienie zagadnień programowania sterowników swobodnie programowalnych wykorzystywanych w systemach informatycznych pracujących w przemyśle oraz naświetlenie problemów teoretycznych i praktycznych z jakimi można się w tym procesie zetknąć. Wykład ułatwi przyszłemu inżynierowi konfigurowanie kontrolerów klasy PLC, projektowanie i tworzenie ich oprogramowania oraz projektowanie informatycznych systemów rozproszonych z ich wykorzystaniem. Poruszane tematy dotyczą roli, konstrukcji i programowania kontrolerów jak i ich roli w interdyscyplinarnym środowisku przemysłowym, o strukturze klasycznej jak i zgodnej z koncepcją Przemysłu 4.0.

The aim of the course is to present the issues of programmable controllers used in IT/OT systems working in industry and to highlight the theoretical and practical problems that may be encountered in this process. The lecture will help a future engineer to configure programmable industrial controllers, design and create their software, and design distributed information systems with their use. The topics discussed concern the role, construction and programming of controllers as well as their role in an interdisciplinary industrial environment, with a classic structure and in accordance with the concept of Industry 4.0.
