The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with
the concept of ecotoxicity testing of chemical substances and preparations, as
well as environmental samples. The course aims to impart knowledge about
various ecotoxicity testing methods, the techniques used to determine toxicity
indices, and the interpretation of the results obtained, including the
assessment of environmental risk. The
course will cover both conventional and alternative testing models, and will
also delve into the programs and methods of environmental monitoring that use
bioindication.
